We hope that news will speak directly to your eco-anxiety and any notions that you're not doing enough to solve the problem. As Robin Williams repeatedly tells Matt Damon in "Good Will Hunting," until Damon weeps: "It's not your fault."
But just because the climate crisis is not your fault doesn't mean you should do nothing. Collectively, we can have a positive impact on the Earth by making lifestyle changes to how we eat, travel, shop and more.
And perhaps most importantly, by living more consistently with these values, that will help bring the temperature of our mental health down, as well.
We are going to separate the facts from incorrect conventional wisdom in these emails. We are going to give you the hard truths about the impact of some activities you love. And we're going to burst some bubbles in terms of activities you may be doing now that you think are helping but are actually more show than substance.
By giving you the facts and data straight, and then pointing you toward more effective lifestyle choices, we hope we can play a small role in helping the planet and a large role in reducing your eco-anxiety around the climate crisis.
