How This One Genius Tool Helped Me Build A Steady Stream of Perfect ClientsThe Challenge of Finding Clients, and the best solution I've ever used.If you've been in business for a while, you know it’s hard to find good clients. You've probably experienced the limitations of traditional lead generation methods. Business cards, for example, are great when you're in person. You give them out at events or meetings, and they serve as a tangible reminder of who you are and what you do. But here's the thing: out of sight, out of mind. Once those cards leave your hands, they often end up in a drawer, never to be seen again. The same goes for cold emails. Sure, cold emails work if you know the right formula and have done the necessary research (I sucked so bad at cold outreach I had to take a course to learn how to fix it. Then I built my Cold Outreach Masterpack so it’s templated). Reality is, cold emailing is a massive amount of work. If you’re doing it right, you’re sending dozens, if not hundreds, of personalized emails to the right people, researching each lead thoroughly, and hoping they’ll bite. Even with all that effort, there’s no guarantee of success. Then, there’s my website. I’ve spent time and energy making sure it's a solid representation of my work, my brand, and I’m easy to contact. It's effective, no doubt about it. I realized over time is that just having a website isn’t enough. Sure, it’s great for giving potential clients a place to check you out, but we need more. We need something to add to that net—something that pulls people in, something that gets them to act because they need the answers to the problems they’re currently having. The Need for an AttractorIn a sea of competition, where everyone is clamoring for attention, the key is to create something that stands out. Something irresistible. Something that compels potential clients to act—not because you’re asking them to, but because they feel like they’re getting the answers they’ve been searching for. That’s where the power of attractors comes in. You can think of an attractor like a beacon. It’s that shining light that guides your ideal clients toward you. It doesn’t matter how busy they are or how many other photographers they’ve spoken to—when they come across your attractor, they feel like they’ve found exactly what they’ve been looking for. It’s not just a catchy marketing tool; it’s a solution to a problem they have that they can’t ignore. Creating the IrresistibleNow, the question is: What makes something irresistible to your ideal client? In my case, I knew that I needed something that would do more than just provide information. It needed to offer something deeper—something that would engage potential clients right away and make them feel like they needed to take the next step. This is where ScoreApp came into the picture. By using interactive scorecards, I found a way to create an irresistible attractor that resonated with my ideal clients. It wasn’t about just showing them what I could do—it was about helping them understand where they were in their journey, what they needed, and why my services were the solution to their problem. These scorecards acted as a type of quiz, which, as we all know, people love. It’s fun, it’s engaging, and most importantly, it gives them something of value—answers to the questions they’ve been grappling with. The Power of a Quiz as an AttractorPeople love quizzes. From “What Type of Business Owner Are You?” to “What’s Your Ideal Vacation Spot?” to even, “What type of lover are you?” quizzes are everywhere. And there's a reason for it: They’re fun, engaging, and they offer personalized results that make people feel seen and understood. These quizzes act like magnets, drawing people in and getting them to reflect on their own needs and desires. What makes a quiz even more powerful is that it’s interactive. It’s not just someone handing you a brochure—it’s an active experience where the person taking the quiz feels like they are part of the journey. In my case, I use ScoreApp’s scorecards in two ways. First off, I use them to qualify my potential photography clients, ensuring that their goals align with the services I offer and that their budget matches what I’m looking to make. This helps me avoid wasting time on leads that aren’t a good fit. Then, I also use the scorecards to qualify photographers who need help with their businesses. It ensures that I’m the right person to help them, and that they’re ready for the guidance I can provide. It’s a powerful tool for ensuring mutual alignment before moving forward. The Results: Turning the Attraction Into ActionThe beauty of using an attractor like this is that it creates a natural progression for your leads. Once they’ve taken the quiz, they’re not just left hanging. The next step is already in place. With the personalized results, I can follow up with each lead, offering solutions and opportunities that align with their specific needs. It’s a soft sell—they’ve already raised their hand to say, “Yes, I need help,” and I’m simply there to guide them toward the right solution. The best part? It’s all automated. The quiz does the heavy lifting. Leads come to me pre-qualified, and the process of nurturing them into clients is streamlined and personalized. We still need to outward reach, work LinkedIn and have a website, but now mentioning this scoreapp, or embedding it, or sending as an email has helped greatly increase the amount and quality of the the leads I get. Now, I’m working with leads who are genuinely interested in and are in need of what I offer. 👉🏾My Visual Branding Scorecard👈🏾 is just one of the scorecards I’ve made to attract the right photography clients. Check to see if this type of scorecard would bring you photography clients. The Importance of a Solid AttractorWhile business cards and cold emails may still play a role in lead generation, what I’ve found is that having an irresistible attractor—something that draws your ideal clients in with the promise of valuable, personalized insights—has made all the difference. It’s not just about casting a wide net and hoping for the best. It’s about using something that speaks directly to the needs of your potential clients and compels them to take action because they need the answers you can provide. By creating that attractor—a quiz, a scorecard, or whatever tool resonates with your audience—you’re building a pipeline of pre-qualified leads that don’t just passively view your services; they actively seek them out. And in an age where attention spans are shorter than ever, that’s the kind of client acquisition system that will set your business apart. I currently have 5 scorecards Live and I use them for everything from booking one on one time with me to qualifying potential photography clients as well as learning their budget range to finding new photographers that are a right fit for me to coach. I started on the free plan which gives you 10 leads/month free, but i got 10 leads the first hour. I upgraded to the package that gives me 100 leads and had 100 leads in the first week. I’m now on the package that includes 1000 leads per month and I’m pretty set. This is just one of the tools that have completely changed my outlook on how we should be getting work and qualifying our clients. If you’re a pro shooter or an emerging pro, this could be a tool that helps you as well. 🚀 📈 Sign up for Scoreapp free here 📈😎 (This is an affiliate link, I will make a small commission if you choose to use it.
