Not only that, you're taking it from a company that doesn't monetize it directly and selling it to one that would have to find ways to monetize it HEAVILY in order to pay for the purchase. The breakup of Google's ad business makes sense to me, but taking pieces that are currently subsidized as part of a competitive moat - providing a lot of value to consumers as part of the bundle, and selling them to someone eager to monetize (i.e. enshittify) them - seems like a bad idea.
