Beyond Father's Day, this weekend is also busy for performing arts. The tragicomedy "Your Grace" — about the complex relationship between "straight-laced virgin queen of England and an unruly Irish lady pirate" — debuts at the Idiom Theater this weekend.
"A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder" is running at the Bellingham Theatre Guild, whereas "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee" is at Mount Vernon's Lincoln Theatre through June 29. And although Shoestring Circus is sold out, the Bellingham Circus Guild's monthly showcase, "Vaudevillingham," has seats available for two shows this Sunday.
Other weekend happenings include Boundary Bay Brewery's Latin Music Festival, a "vibrant two-day celebration of Latin culture, music, and food." We're also at the tail end of Vegan Restaurant Week — so if you haven't yet sampled the 17 specials from participating eateries, I'd recommend starting now.
