Apple has rolled out iOS 18.6 to iPhone users, alongside updates for iPadOS 18.6, macOS Sequoia 15.6, watchOS 11.6, tvOS 18.6 and visionOS 2.6. The free releases focus on security enhancements and bug fixes, including a resolution for memory movie sharing issues in the Photos app.
Users are urged to install the updates—each requiring a few minutes to download, install and restart—to keep devices protected against potential cyberattacks. All eyes now turn to September, when Apple is expected to unveil its major iOS 26 overhaul (and companion OS 26 releases) with the iPhone 17 launch; public betas are available for all platforms except visionOS.
