It's a shame that most people, when they go to adopt a pet, pick the cutest one available. I am not one to talk because I was going to do the same thing the day when I went to the pet store to adopt a kitten. But fate had another plan for me.

As I was reaching for the "cute kitten," someone beat me to it. The only one left, the one that everyone skipped, was a very small kitten with six toes on each paw. I thought it was deformed, as I guess everyone else did, which is why it was left. But as I turned to walk away, I heard it meow. So, I turned around and saw it was sitting up, looking at me.
