Thanks to you, we more than doubled our fundraising goal and received over $10,000 during our first Giving Tuesday.

Cascadia Daily News is required to raise funds for our Report for America public health/health care reporter, Owen Racer. The donations we receive will help support Owen's reporting, and thanks to our partnership with Report for America, all donations are tax-deductible.

While CDN is for-profit and owned by a Whatcom County native, we are still a fairly young news organization working to become self-sustaining. By shifting toward a community-powered revenue model, Cascadia Daily News becomes a community investment.
