Okay, I need to tell you what's happening in the sky right now because it's WILD and it explains so much about why this year feels different.
We're in a once-in-a-millennium astrological moment. I'm not exaggerating. The last time the planets aligned like this was over 9,000 years ago, during the birth of agriculture and settled human life. That's the scale we're talking about.
Here's what's happening: we have six planets piling into Aries right now, which astrologers call a stellium. Think of it like everyone showing up to the same party at once. And the party is at 0° Aries, the very first degree of the entire zodiac. Translation? The cosmos are using a bullhorn.
The big headliner is that Saturn met Neptune in February at zero degrees Aries. Saturn brings pressure, responsibility, structure. Neptune brings vision, uncertainty, and soul. Together they're asking us: are you building something real that's actually aligned with what you're here to do?
And here's the kicker: both Saturn and Neptune are staying in Aries for years. Saturn until 2028, Neptune until 2039. This is the new era, and there are no take-backs.

This was assigned reading my freshman year of high school, and looking back, it was absolutely my gateway into psychological thrillers (and probably the seed of my true crime habit too). The fact that it was written in 1938 and has influenced so many of the thrillers I love now should tell you everything.

Marie Kondo single-handedly changed this ADHD girl’s life. My favorite takeaway is getting rid of things because they’re “costing” you space, and thanking each item before donating it so you honor its energy while letting it serve someone else. (P.S. Cameron also seconds this book!)

Empowering, insightful, and zero judgey Christian vibes. The author is educational and relatable without shame or ick, and I’ve gifted it to friends entering faith who loved it.

This one wrecked me in the best way. Kristin Hannah has a gift for making you feel history in your bones, and the story of women who served in Vietnam and came home invisible is heartbreaking, empowering, and one I'll never stop recommending.
Mr. Mercedes by Stephen King
This book pulled me in from page one and didn't let go until the very last line. I believe this was one of my first Stephen King books I ever read, and it made me a fan for life. If you think you don't like thrillers, this is the book that will change your mind.

I loved this book because it feels like a quiet conversation that somehow cracks your heart open. This book is sharp, messy, funny, and devastating in equal measure. Its take on grief, identity, and meaning hit me hard and lingered long after I finished it.
