Here's what's new on Hulu, Apple TV+, Paramount+ and Netflix.

What we're watching: An emotional romantic drama, a new action movie starring two Hollywood heavyweights and Ellen DeGeneres' swan song.

Max's pick of the week

"She Taught Love" (tomorrow on Hulu)

State of play: A spiraling actor's world is changed when he meets and falls in love with a sports agent who's facing her own mortality and living in the moment.

My thought bubble: Keep some tissues nearby. This no-frills romance is sincere and inspiring.

What they're saying: "I just have no desire to write, be a part of or watch things that are depicting weak women because that's not the world that I live in," co-lead and writer Darrell Britt-Gibson tells Axios.

"Wolfs" (tomorrow on Apple TV+)

The vibe: George Clooney and Brad Pitt star in this film about two professional fixers and "lone wolves" who are forced to work together to cover up a high-profile crime.

Driving the news: Clooney and Pitt may be teaming up again for "Oceans 14," according to Deadline.

"Ellen DeGeneres: For Your Approval" (now on Netflix)

The intrigue: This special has been billed as the last for the comedian who ended her hit talk show in 2022 after employees spoke out about the alleged toxic work environment.

More to watch

"Will & Harper" (available Friday on Netflix)

  • After Will Ferrell's friend of 30 years comes out as a trans woman, the pair decide to see the country on a road trip from New York to Los Angeles in this heartwarming documentary.

"Grotesquerie" (now on Hulu)

  • Niecy Nash-Betts, Courtney B. Vance and Travis Kelce star in this 10-episode drama series about a nun and detective who collaborate to solve a series of eerie crimes in their community.

"Mr. McMahon" (now on Netflix)

  • Behind the scenes: "Tiger King" director Chris Smith spent four years producing this documentary that covers how former CEO Vince McMahon grew the WWE into a global empire as well as the sexual misconduct allegations that led to his resignation.

"Apartment 7A" (available Friday on Paramount+)

  • John Krasinski and Michael Bay are among the producers of this prequel to the classic horror film "Rosemary's Baby."

"Rez Ball" (available Friday on Netflix)

  • This coming-of-age sports drama about a high school basketball team made up of players from a Native American reservation is based on a novel by New York Times reporter Michael Powell.

"Out There: Crimes of the Paranormal" (now on Hulu)

  • From UFOs to covens and ghosts, the team behind "Sasquatch" takes you inside eight true crime cases with paranormal connections.
