How would you define a 'working person'?

I think "working people" are those who actually do something useful and which adds value to Society. The size of their salary should be compatible with the value they add. Someone running a successful large organisation is quite rightly paid more than someone "on the shop floor", but the differential should be "reasonable". It is difficult to see how one person is "worth" hundreds of times more than another person.
