You could make a Final Destination movie about Donald Trump given the number of times he's recently dodged death.
The former president was apparently saved from a third attempt on his life in as many months after a man, identified as Vem Miller, 49, from Las Vegas, was caught outside a rally in Coachella on Saturday armed with guns and fake passes.
"We probably stopped another assassination attempt," local sheriff Chad Bianco later told reporters, branding Miller a "lunatic" with "fringe" views.
However, the 49-year-old one-time journalist has furiously denied any suggestion he planned to take out the MAGA commander-in-chief, insisting that he is "but an artist".
Speaking to The Independent, the 49-year-old touted his credentials as a loyal Trump supporter, claiming that he'd even "hung out" with the Republican candidate's sons.
At any rate, the debacle seems to be water off a duck's back as far as Trump himself is concerned. And rather than address the hot topic of his safety, he's shown more interest in his "hot" fans.
Speaking at a campaign event in Arizona, the day after Miller's alleged foiled plot, Trump found himself awestruck by an attractive face in the crowd.
"I would say she's a beautiful woman," Trump gushed. "But if I did say that, my political career – you're not allowed to say that. So I'm not allowed to call you a beautiful woman."
At this stage, one thing's for sure: both Trump and his political career are still very much alive and kicking.
