| Brexit hit to Britain only just beginning
| The damage Brexit is wreaking on Britain's economy is only just beginning, The Independent revealed this week. The UK's decision to leave the EU has put a bomb under the creative sector and left businesses drowning in post-Brexit red tape. Government estimates are that it will reduce Britain's overall trade with the world by 15 per cent, with a long-run 4 per cent hit to the size of the economy. But a Treasury minister admitted this week, citing Office for Budget Responsibility calculations, that just 40 per cent of the Brexit impact has so far been felt. With 60 per cent yet to materialise, the Brexit damage is only just getting started.
