Robert Smith (1932 -)

Robert Smith attended the Progressive School of Photography in New Haven, Connecticut, in 1951. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, California, in 1957, followed by a Master of Science degree from the same institution. Smith had a successful career as a commercial photographer, working with corporate clients such as Sunkist, Dow Chemical, Vivitar, Liberty Records, and Paramount Records, among others. From 1974 to 2004, he served as a faculty member at Brooks Institute. His work has been featured in numerous exhibitions and is included in both personal and corporate collections. At the age of 92, he continues to make his own prints.
