Farage holidays as Brexit hots up
| Nigel Farage has come under fire for appearing often more interested in spending time in the US alongside Donald Trump - or on GB News - than showing up in parliament. But you would think the arch-Brexiteer would hate nothing more than to miss a debate on Sir Keir Starmer's post-Brexit reset deal with the EU. So where was Mr Farage while the remainer prime minister presented the agreement to MPs? On holiday in France. He has since vowed to rip up the deal in the unlikely event he becomes prime minister. But his absence on what should have been one of the biggest days in parliament for Mr Farage and Reform will only fuel criticism that he is more interested in himself than his constituents, or even than Brexit. | |
