There was a time not too long ago when I thought I had limits. Limits on what I could do, how much I could create, and how far I could push myself. Then I faced something that changed everything — brain cancer. When you face your own mortality, every excuse you’ve ever made evaporates. The voice in your head that said “not today” or “I’m too tired” suddenly has no power. You realize how fragile time is, and how much of it you’ve wasted hiding behind barriers that never really existed. Today, I do more before 10 a.m. than I used to do all day. And I’m not saying that to brag — I’m saying it because it’s proof that when you remove the barriers, you are absolutely limitless.
What Changed After Brain Cancer When I beat brain cancer, something inside me shifted. I stopped asking if I could and started asking how fast I could. I stopped negotiating with the part of me that wanted comfort. I started every day with clarity, gratitude, and urgency. There’s no wasted movement now. I wake up with purpose. My mornings are no longer a slow ramp-up — they’re a launch. Here’s what my mornings look like now:
By 10 a.m., I’ve already made more progress than I used to in an entire day. I’ve walked, I’ve photographed, I’ve prayed. And the crazy thing? It’s not because I’m doing more. It’s because I removed what was holding me back — distraction, fear, and hesitation. You Can Do the Same Thing I’m not trying to tell you what to do. But I can tell you this: you can do anything. The truth is, most of us don’t need more time. You need less time. We need fewer limits. Limits that we put on ourselves — consciously or not. Limits like:
Those thoughts are the real barriers. They convince you to wait for the perfect conditions — but there are no perfect conditions. There’s only now. When I say you’re limitless, I don’t mean you should work nonstop or push yourself to burnout. I mean that you have far more in you than you’ve ever allowed yourself to believe. Small Shifts That Create Massive Change Here’s how you can begin breaking your own limits — starting tomorrow morning:
These are not hacks. They’re reminders that your potential is already there — you’ve just got to clear the fog that’s been covering it. The Truth About Being Limitless Beating brain cancer didn’t give me new strength. It revealed the strength that was already inside me. And I believe that same strength is in you. Every day is a gift. Every moment is an opportunity. The only thing standing between you and everything you’re capable of is the story you keep telling yourself about what’s possible. You’re limitless. Not because I said so, but because it’s true. And once you see it — once you really believe it — everything in your life starts to move differently. So tomorrow morning, before 10 a.m., do something that reminds you that you’re alive, capable, and unstoppable. Because you are. Trying a different time for this email to go out.
