In need of a laugh? The Upfront is hosting their annual Bellingham Improv Festival this weekend, and Bellingham TheatreWork's dark comedy, "Bigfoot," is running at Options Theatre.
More than a year ago, I covered then-high school student Atlas Hovdesven's original ballet, "A Very Queer Ballet (not a love story)." Now Hovdesven is back with its sequel, "A Very Queer Ballet: TRANScendence," with showings tonight and Saturday afternoon at the FireHouse Arts and Events Center.
Finally, Whatcom Chorale's performance of "Lest We Forget," runs for this weekend only and "[gives] voice to the unbroken spirit of over 120,000 Japanese Americans who were unjustly rounded up and incarcerated."
