Hi ,
I found myself in a little predicament the other day.
I was exploring some rocks, knowing I needed to get down to the trail below.
From a distance, the route looked possible.
The kind of "this should work" path.
But when I got closer, I could see it clearly:
Near the end, there was a drop that just wasn't passable.
For a moment, I didn't want to admit it.
I had already committed to that direction.
But sometimes the wisest move isn't pushing harder.
It's turning around.
Taking a few steps back.
Reconnecting with the trail that actually leads where you want to go.
We don't talk about this much.
We celebrate perseverance.
We celebrate grit.
We celebrate "never give up."
But awareness is just as powerful.
Sometimes progress looks like recalibration.
If something in your work, your direction, or even your energy feels slightly off…
It may not mean you're failing.
It may simply mean you need a better route.
And that's not defeat.
That's leadership.
More soon.
