Cascadia Daily News has been providing in-depth 2025 election coverage of Whatcom and Skagit counties for months. We completed another Citizens Agenda project, encouraging readers/voters to "set the table" for our coverage. We even put on two Election Town Halls.

Election Day has finally arrived, which means the Cascadia Daily newsroom is putting in a few extra hours to bring you live updates before and after ballot boxes close.

Residents are casting votes for city, port, county and school board races, and more!

If you still have your ballot and have questions, check out CDN's comprehensive voter guide found here. Voters have until 8 p.m. to drop off their ballots.

We'll be updating our website and social media channels with election-related stories, and expect the results in another newsletter later tonight.
